Leaning way into the Autechre influence here. Lots of generative Reaktor things, resampled and resampled again.

On Friday, I got to interview Rob Sheridan (former art director for Nine Inch Nails) for the Glitch Art Is Dead 2022 Exhibition festival. Didn't really realize until it was over, but sorta a bucketlist item. Pretty happy with it all! Particularly after the past 2 weeks being so busy at work, the prep and stress of the interview added to it. So this track feels very much in that more relaxed mode (but make it glitch, hah).

I also had a really good thift store run, after not really checking out the spot a block from me for several months. Two $15 analog video processor titlers (Videonics Thumbs Up, JVC JXT-T66) which I hope to either integrate into my analog video gear rig, or possibly reach out to BPMC if he can bend the Videonics (I think it's what he uses for the Basic Cable circuit bent glitch gear). BUT I also managed to get a perfect condition Casio SK-5 in it's box. Really beautfiul looking and was fun to record my first sample "Hello??" and then reverse it and play it. Which I didn't use in this track, but maybe will experiment more later.

Super intricate stuff; sounds like angry water; tongue

Good glitch like this is something I dig listening to, but have yet to figure out how to make (or make well, at any rate)―it must take a LOT of patience/expertise.
