Really focused on mastering an album right now, so this track took like 30min. I impulsively bought Waves Audio L2 Ultramaximizer which I'm using on this track as the master limiter. Pretty default and not much exploration on it, but will be interesting to fit it in where it makes sense in the future. Was thinking maybe I'd make something drone-y but since I put Replika on an acid riff that wasn't too bad, figured I'd use some Kontakt instruments to make it a bit more melodic and it became kinda industrial. Has a kind of drive to it. Probably won't go any further than this, but may harvest the melodic string-like progression for something in the future. Or not, hah, who knows.
