(wooops was writing too much and missed the upload minute, so my thanks for the link via the forums - revising my rambly text to be more concise).
originally a brief throw-away experiment with ableton stock 'effect packs', after playing for my friend who really dug the synth lead, i dug deeper to carve more around the first few original sounds. did some more work on friday and saturday, but neglected crossing the threshold to arrangement view until the very last hour. messy levels, no eq, vox too low, bass too hot, etc. but still inspired by this tune and see a lot of potential to sculpt it even further into a bigbeat banger.
also work-life stuff: got the job offer last friday and accepted! same work place, same folks, different department and bigger. daunting in some of the newness, but excited to build and grow even further!
