Went to Cold Waves last night here in Chicago. Really pumped with the overall experience, met some other musicians who are rad and are planning shows in the future. Very much enjoyed seeing h3llb3nt, C-Tec and of course Meat Beat Manifesto. Gotta laugh - every other time I see MBM, I do love it, but sometimes feel like, "Ugh, Jack, this track going on foreverrr, move on to the next one".  This time 'round I on the flip side and thinking "Ugh, Jack, this show isn't long enough!!" haha - totally dancing the entire time and loved it. (ps I'm pretty sure this was MBM's setlist as I recall it).

This track starts a bit melancholy and sounds a little Blad Runner-like at first. Overall builds into a bit more confident sound and groove. Can't help but feel the arp and build up feels a bit late 80s EBM, but then I kinda go heavier with it. Not much else to say. Fun lil sketch.

On Sun 9/09 (2 weeks ago), I officially started focusing on being healthy with food and exercise. I'm down 8lbs and already feeling I have more energy and focus. I'm hoping to keep it up like I did way back in 2011ish to be fit again. It's been waay too long. Also very necessary after last month was probably the most unhealthiest - working 25-days straight, stress non-stop, eating junk whenever, and definitely getting only 3-4hrs of sleep for that entire month. Blek, so glad that is behind me and I'm focusing on being better!

Those punchy beats had me bobbin my head. Cool distortion going on too, good stuff.
