Native Instruments TRK-1 bass through my Pioneer RMX500 recorded a long take and chopped it up, kinda becomes a fake acid-ish vibe. After rendering and not looking at the project file while listening, I'm even more happy with the percussion. The riser and all-everything plus a ride cymbal is probably my fave. Really wanted to find some wild vocal rant/sample, but not enough time. Feelin' like I'll probably salvage this, though potentially remove most the synths, and build upon it to be part of an actual track for a future release.

Also last week was good, trained a new hire, and the week prior I survived that huge work event thing. The week ahead will be a bit both busy and slow, but at least it's only a 3-day week for me, as I'm off Thursday and Friday. So that feels good.
