Wrote this track this morning.

Yesterday was a bit of a whirlwind. The live A/V event that was planned for a while happened, and was overall a good experience. But I was disappointed with the technology setbacks I ran into at the start. Ah well - nobody is really doing the stuff we did, exploring worlds created in Unreal with really intricate, atmospheric, and heavy industrial music. It was fun and good (I keep telling myself). While we didn't get a recording, it was encouraging to hear how many folks dug it, and even the person who put it together saying how we always blow their minds. [EDIT: I revised this after posting. Felt like I rambled more than I needed to, but yeah, checkout out some snippets of our set here!]

ANYWAY. This song captures a sliver of a bit of exhaustion from this week (work was also the most insane this week with meetings, ugh). All the music was built out of Maschine (grabbed wave files and dropped them into FLStudio playlist view). I tried to exploring kits I don't normally use/don't have favorited. Admittedly found a new one I dig. The frozen piano is fun and dreary and the Vocalese pad, but I think my favorite is the meandering bass the second half. Don't see going back to this to build it further at this point - more like one of those weeks to write a track to keep pushing through.

lovely cold piano melodies...epic pulse and movement to opening to greater realities.  And the little tom-like perc hits are really awesome with the trancegate.  and the drop at the end is very satisfying

Yeah, already feeling the wb drain!

Haha yeah that bass line is groovy as hell, nice !

anything lower than 120 bpm i find enticing. thank you.

Very nice airy piano. smile
