I'm not sure where I stand with this track. It started out as an experiment with Maschine, and I worry I inadvertently wiped out all of my GuitarRig custom user presets in doing so (I haven't reopened it yet for fear, I'll figure it out this next week I suppose). The initial synth is an FM8 guitar-like arp (does anyone really use FM8?), bass, then I eventually threw in my typical EBM kit and 8th-note synth. Sang and caught a loop or two that was vaguely harmonious, solidifying it as angsty/sorrowful. I guess it makes sense though, it's been a pretty agonizing week at work. Chopped some heavy breaks at the end a bit carelessly, and was pretty okay with that.

If I were to consider this for a sort-of industrial album I've been working on (it is at that 50/50 state with me right now), it'd need a big overhaul. I will say though the original title sounds pretty badass, so if this song doesn't survive, I'll revive the title elsewhere. Might need to dress up like Sisters of Mercy though for it to really work (maybe that's what it was missing all along!)

Killer track, I really enjoyed this, had an abrupt ending, I wanted more
