pick up sticks

As these weeks go on I am relaxing into it and somehow still squeaking out time to do something little each time. Anyway I really need to fix some noise issues at the moment but maybe it's better for being so woolen lol ;-)

As time goes on, I've really grown to appreciate some noise floor sometimes. I used to feel super self conscious about it, and I felt like it reflected poorly on my early recordings (which were super noisy), but I think it's got its charm, just like tape emulation or lossy or whatever.

Great track, btw! Such a low key vibe, the drums are really tight and laid back and fun, and I like the counterpoint between the bassy synth and the more flutey one.

Yeah there is certainly some charm to a high noise floor, can feel more real somehow. Thanks for listening and your kind words!
