Again not much time this week, but this time made a 1-row jam on the M8 and with some help of Syntakt and Octatrack, jammed a little and just recorded it.

Your jam sounds great! I’ve tried to do the same with the guitar but haven’t gotten it to actually sound good yet. Yours is really impressive though!

I like how you merged the filtering and introducing of a new element at 1:07, quite cool
If I can, I'd suggest adding delay to your hihats so that they induce more movement in the track, maybe a tad of swing too

definitely good use of the octatrack here, I keep wanting to revisit it but working ITB too much lately yikes

I like the vibe. Note that this track is very quiet, barely -25 LUFS. If you listen to the entire round of submissions, this comes in much less prominent than the other tracks, and then the next one startles you since you adjusted the volume 🫠

The performance template is definitely a winner, even for ITB.

Ooops, yeah, forgot to normalize at the end.

Have a bunch of unfinished octatrack ideas, still need to give it some time (along with everything else). Plenty of heavy/crunch just needs warm pushing of the levels.
