Unsettling Thoughts

By RokZRooM on February 14, 2016 9:07 pm

Again, a last minute work, everything done in about 3 hours.

=== lyrics ? ===

These
unsettling thoughts
keep coming around
like there is something
new to be found...

"Please,
let us come in,"
they ask politely
as they surround...

Desperately,
I look around
For a helping hand,
But the muds on my head

As I glimpse from
Six feet
under the ground
The hands that are feeding
Sand on my bed

With all that blood rushing in the veins of their hands

They're still colder by a thousand degrees than my heart

So whats a good title if I work on this further, making it a proper and better song? tongue Unsettling Thoughts or Thousand Degrees?

to be honest, I totally like the whole thing, with a few exceptions, so to speak... beat, melody are wonderfully sinister, melancholic and just right, but the voice would really really need some more work... in a treating manner... more eq and compression and if that would fit, I guess I could overlook the missed notes you sang... other than that, nice one...

Thank you for listening, and putting your thoughts out loud. Really appreciate it. I loved the concept so far and I am definitely going to re-record this one, may be work over and improvise the whole theme and idea.

Also got some idea on how I want its video to be, so let see what this turns out to be. smile
