The Sun Of A Father

Familer Deeper House vibe but I've stripped back and tried to use very few elements. I've also changed the arrangement framework that I normally use, this is a Pop arrangement so shorter and punchier in timing. I'm trying this with more of my tracks as with a club track arrangement it's easy to get lost in the groove element, which is nice but can often create unmemorable songs/tracks, I'm not saying this one is more memorable but with less time and a simpler structure you really have to focus on what's important and the main parts of a track. Often with longer arrangements I can listen back and think "actually I've got 2 song ideas finding for attention in the one piece". This exercise is meant to reduce that.

As for the title, it seemed apt as it's the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, which also happens to be my Mum's birthday and also Father's Day which hasn't happened before. So I'm lucky to get a day to celebrate 2 people I'm eternally grateful to.
