What were the devices/programs used for this track?
Your kick drum sounds so precise on my setup. It's a 2.1 so the mini sub adds a great B-BOOM

Just Ableton's own again, I've been using the Drum Buss plug in a lot it just got added in 10. It's a huge improvement on the previous compressors and the presets are good as well. I used 'Crisp Comp in G' on this one.
The kick is interesting and pretty geeky. Basically I read an article about different samplers handling samples differently especially in regard to how they handle transients. The detail is in the article in the link but basically Simpler/Sampler and some other samplers don't handle the initial transient well and 'muffle' it so it doesn't have the boom. Impulse is better set up for that. So I use a kick drum on that, I also have it on it's own channel and not grouped with the other drums. Then usual sjidechaining for the Bassline, etc, etc
