I'm Alright?

New York Piano type track but then stripped back to just drums and bass. I'm planning a new project so really just messing about with options at the moment

This piano chords are so sick in this one. Really has that Brooklyn clubbing feel. What chords are used here?

Thanks, it's more of a production effect than the chords. Basically a major 7th (I think I used a basic C major 7th in this case), then sample the chord and put the chord in a sampler. Then you can play the chord with a single key and create a progression like that. That's how a lot of the early house tracks where done (or by really slowing the bpm then playing in) as few people had really piano playing chops. It gives it a very distinctive sound as the pitch changes the chord but it's not moving around the scale as normal. Then it's just a case of a bit of reverb & delay to give it that sound. Hope the helps
