I Remember Chicago

Most of my tracks tend to veer to the New York house scene but for this I've gone back to the originators with Chicago, different drums sounds although I've filtered the chords more than was common then.

shout out to the Chicago house originators!  Great stuff - I really do have a soft spot for that 90s techno heyday vibe.  Can you recommend some original Chicago House musicians for me to check out?

Hey thanks, yes me too.

Top of my head ones I'd check are Larry Heard, DJ Pierre, Marshall Jefferson, Frankie Knuckles, Steve 'Silk' Hurley, Farley 'Jackmaster' Funk. Also look for anything on Trax Records or for the Chicago 2nd generation Guidance Records, Cajual or Relief with people like Cajmere/Green Velvet, Gemini, Glenn Underground, Boo Williams.

Here's a Spotify playlist I came across it's not pure Chicago but a lot of early guys
