The Skeleton in my Closet Is The Corpse of a Failed Clone

1xLSDJ, lol.

So this is not an amazing composition. My goal this week was to write some simple, dance-ish patterns in LSDJ and record the channels separately so I could play around with post processing, effects, compression, etc.  I've never dabbled in this type of thing and I wanted to see how close I could get to a more polished dance music sound by just processing one Game Boy.

I'm pretty happy with the overall sound. I especially like the way the kick/bass turned out (The bass synth and the kick sound pretty decent on their own).  But I'm not an EDM producer, so any comments or tips on making things sound fancy is appreciated.

1xLSDJ live session, channels exported individually, effects added in Reaper.

very cool !

All GB sound sources? Sweet job dude!

nice drill bass!

This song makes me realize I need to step up my game in the "tags" category, heh. A cool experiment, and successful. How are you hoping to implement in future live/recordings?

very nice kick and bass!

The sounds in this are very well done! Great job on the post processing, though I'll honestly say I could've done with a little less reverb tongue Very cool track though!

This is sick ! In love with the 303(-12st) pattern. Im not a big fan of the gameboy riff but it´s a matter of taste i guess
What you could improve is the hihat pattern which is either too simple or too flat, try another sound or try offsetting it a bit to get a better groove
Great work man !

Wow, bass is pretty cool. Not a fan of constant reverb though! I would cut it almost completely in the last part

I'm honestly not a big reverb fan, haha. I forced myself to use reverb to try and get used to it. I went overboard though! XD   This was more of an experiment in adding fx to lsdj tracks than anything. I learned a few things.

Thanks for listening guys, and offering comments, since this is sort of new territory for me.

Sounds great, maybe it's either too much reverb or not enough here...especially if you're going for a  Casino vs Japan sound. Pretty successful experiment tho i reckon!
