I got an Elektron Digitone recently and have been slowly learning my way around it. This is a live jam with Digitone and Octatrack. It's my first attempt at pairing the two and I haven't worked out the kinks haha, so it's rough.

The Digitone is very cool. I don't really get FM synthesis yet, but just tweaking random parameters is fun enough and there are tons of cool presets.

But yeah, I'd say learn Digitakt first. A lot of the button presses and menus should be very similar, so once you get the hang of one machine, a lot of it carries over. I got the Octatrack first and learned it, and it was easy to get going on the Digitone when I got it. Sequencer is pretty much the same.

Super funky tribal beat. Massive bass and dead on scatter and glitch effects. Love the vocal sample too... rocks!!
