Give My Regards to the Tigers

By roboctopus on January 19, 2014 10:54 pm

Just some Game Boy dance music this week.

This track could really use a couple of months of tweaking and agonizing over, but deadlines...

I think I'll work on this some more.  Not sure if the slow part should even be there, haha.

SO MUCH TIGER YES

Awesome

classic roboctopus groovy style - some of your LSDJ work still makes me wonder how the fuck that's even possible like that tremolo thingy going on in here - also is it weird that your drops always make me wanna get white-girl-wasted? I said that to a couple other tracks on here too...maybe I have a problem...

Yesssssss smile

2xlsdj if i'm not mistaken?  i just added to my chipmusic todo list "do more insane wav kit stuff".  also "do laundry".  always dig that your dancey stuff always comes off as "mellow and unassuming" instead of "constantly desparate for attention".

perfect way to describe it, been internally trying to for a while now

anyway, my real comment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hti1Zk0Npi4

actually I just hit the slow section and it's good but it felt a little too abrupt imo

Yup, this one is a keeper. A little fine tuning needed, but probably not as much as you think.

This is fantastic. GROOVY heart

Hell yes, dude

Classic roboctoarps

Deserves loud playing! Great.

I would probably lose the slow bit, end is different enough to drift out nicely...

Such amazing sounds, how does a gameboy survive a track like that? Love those glitchy chords!

Last half is so euphoric with them kits ^_^

cool cool!!!So glad, i can listen to your great new music every week again!! smile

This is probably going on my next workout mix. Awesome.

disco.txt continues! Is there a vocal sample from "A Long Time Ago Tomorrow Morning"? smile
I like the slow part by the way!

Thanks guys!

I am thinking about taking the slow part in the bridge out. Might make it a tighter track.

@twistboy, yeah, that's the same vocal sample.

Ya that bridge is way too abrupt. What it starts to transform into is really solid though. Not sure how you get sounds like this out of the gameboy. I can only assume my gameboy did not come with these sounds in them so i will have to search for a better gameboy...

Delicious bouncy bass and leads on the drop there! Like the bitchin glitchin at 2.30 too big_smile
