2 a.m. in the Wastelands

It's nearly lunchtime on Friday. I wanted to work on this track more but I'm about to go out of town for the weekend and I won't have an easy way to record anything.

2xLSDJ.

I plan to put this on an EP so I'm definitely going to work on it more. It's a bit rough around the edges and needs a lot of tweaking but you get the idea.

Is the animated gif an extract from Laputa in the Castle of Sky, by Mizayaki?

Melody sound really nice, so is the structure. I would suggest to duck the bass parts chained with the beat, for a clearer sound, but maybe you're into a more raw chip sound.

Loving the arpeggios near the end. Nice work

Really nice job! Lovely melodies as usual. Mood differs a little from your older works, digging it. I think this one screams for huge solo near the end!
And yay new Roboctopus EP is coming! This year, maybe?

i love how this duplicated pu channels sounds in this tune. it's well mastered and it sounds quite good but in my opinion melody should be stronger. yes it's a very cool tune

yes. more 2xlsdj and roboctopus albums please.

This is way cool, love that punching part, I think you know what I'm talking about.

Thanks guys!

The gif is from an anime series called The World God Only Knows (or something like that).

Yeah, a lot of the tweaks I need to do are smoothing out volume levels and such. I'm going to go back and add E commands to the bass line to control the volume around the kick.
