I Will Never See You Anymore

By rjc718 on January 28, 2018 11:18 pm

Was pretty busy this week so didn't have a lot of time to complete any new music.  This is a simple piano track I wrote awhile ago for an indie film I was going to write music for (the project ended up falling through, so this track was just kind of sitting there unused).  Though this challenge says to create new music, I figure the ultimate goal is to develop habits and to make sure you devote a little time each week, even if you are busy with other things.  I also think it is useful to revisit older incomplete tracks and get them ready to use.  In light of that, since I was still able to force myself to spend some time working on a different track, and doing some editing and mixing and getting this track cleaned up and ready to use, I will allow myself to upload it so people can give it feedback.  Next week for sure I will need to complete something new.

This would sound really good in stereo. Very laid back. Was this recorded on a keyboard or sequenced?

This was actually recorded in stereo, panned hard right and left, but I do need to figure out some way to get a wider sound.

It was recorded with a sequencer (with me stepping on the sustain pedal in real time) using the New York Concert Grand library from NI Komplete Ultimate.
