Werewolves on the Dancefloor

All hardware jam.  Modular synth (bass, melody, percussion), Sequential Tom drum machine (beats) and Buchla Music Easel on secondary bass and leads.

Everything was one take except for the Buchla bass and leads which were overdubbed later

Love the drums and percussive work in this, it's fantastic. They give such a great driving kind of feel to the track.

The distorted lines on the background give that threatening vibe to the track. The glitch block like percussion is tight and work so well with the brass like synth lines.

Thanks Hengtee!  That was the heart of the track for sure. The main backbeat is from this vintage drum machine I finally got up and running again.  Sounds so killer in the mix and compliments the modular tones and percussion so well.  smile

Cheers! Yes, the Buchla does amazing bass amongst many other things.  Def a fan of that tight percussion part too. smile That's all from the Mysteron module by Makenoise.  Killer module for percussion to noisy melodies.

I'll get round to listening and leaving feedback soon!  I think I'm a week behind. Soon.  smile

Love the raw energy coming from your hardware. Great ballance between dark basslines and the percussion. The mix sounds awesome, as always. The trompetlike synths are completely mindblowing!!!! Very very good stuff.

That distorted bass is killer.

Great sounds abound throughout.  Many of them are for sure reminiscent of wolf howls.  I was liking the percussion from the beginning but then when it came in even in bigger and louder was a particularly cool moment.

Dark and dank. I wonder if silver pellets in a shotgun shell would have the same effect as a silver bullet.

Ooof that drum sound gave me instant NIN vibes but also bad ass vibes!  The rolling bass sounds so sinister.  It makes the whole track sound like it's bubbling to life.  I know nothing about modulars but you make me want this exact setup lol.  That gritty synth at 3:13 sits so nice on top of everything else.  Cool stuff!

Yesss killer jam man! Had me desperate for that filter to open up at the start, oof.
Somehow I could almost hear some Coltrane in those wailing leads and now I wanna pull out a love supreme haha
