The Cry of Lost Lovers

By rdomain on April 28, 2024 2:30 am

One of my pieces for the documentary I'm currently working on.  I've been away and haven't had time to create a separate piece but this one sits in nicely amongst my collection of songs so far.

Just beautiful. Absolutely lovely. A whole emotional space inside a a scarce minute and a half. And just a week but foreboding with those low bass tones at the end, love it.

I like how the different sounds of the guitar and the low drone + the round piano complement each other. It's a relatively simple track but is very evocative.

I did not expect such tones, but it I have to say, I like it.

Great atmosphere (as usual), I can see how this would fit nicely as underscore.  I really like the perc sounds at the end, that as a little lively activity and draw attention harmonic changes happening in the higher voices.

Really digging this. Very moody. It borders on film noir and I'm here for it.

This is very nice, lots of room for each element to shine, curious what the subject of the documentary is?

It's about an artist.  He used to be a world renown dancer performing for Pina Bausch for example and being a part of The Rite of Spring and Phillip Glass dance performances.   In his later years, he now carves these lovely wooden sculptures out of old Aussie trees so yes, it tells a story of his life.

Thanks for listening everyone, appreciated!  I've been so busy lately so my feedback has been sparse.  Got some catch up time today so that was good.  Thanks again.
