Tensions

By rdomain on April 2, 2022 4:07 am

2 part performance on the modular synth. This was mostly based around the Benjolin which is a chaos module of sorts and  Maths for a lot of CV control.  Solo voice was the DPO.  All analog voices on this piece.

Goodness gracious the ear candies are plentiful in this track.  The Benjolin sounds so cinematic and sinister.  Like your turning these huge chainwheels to make the track come alive.  Aptly named track as well.  This had the few hairs left on my head tingling.  I look forward to seeing this in Blade Runner 4983 wink  Well done!

agreed: this is straight-up ear candy with all the accelerandoz and face-melting synth wizardry, so great! heart

Loved every damn second of it. heart

Great ideas in this piece and I like how it simultaneously makes me feel extremely anxious and reminds me of a sprinkler watering a lawn on a summer afternoon.

I don`t have a clue how you are doing this weird sounds. I can`t even handle my Moogerfooger CP-215 Control Processor. Really wild wild sounds in here.

omg the beginning just strikes pure fear into my heart...
this is awesome

It's like a horrible, horrible tornado warning siren!!!  And then the tornado comes!

this is so strong I love it, the tones are so sharp, really impressive

That was so intense. A real experience to listen to

The high drone really adds a layer of alienness and threat. There is something about the alienness of this track that takes me back to the recent Dune movie. Like Giedi Prime or Salusa Secundus sections (need more throat singing). This was really awesome. As awesome as a panic inducing track can be. I need to steal that high lead idea. Love it.

Tensions is the perfect track title, love that granular type effect on the synth and that wailing high synth

Thanks for listening everyone! Great to see quite an experimental track so well received.  It was a fun one to make!
