Tampering of Evidence

My first patch on my new studio case for my modular synth gear.  It's such a pleasure to create on!  No edits.

Here's a small extract of the patch for your viewing pleasure.

I can hear the awesome power of the HP

Case looks epic, man.

there is magic going on. WOW.

Ha, i love the title, and this track sounds exactly like it big_smile
There is 'evidence' of a heartbeat here, but someone has tampered with it, the menace! mad heart

Is that all on the modular synth? Even what sounds like a violin stab around 0:45? And the piano like sounds? I love the static like sounds that appear here and there, like 1:37. Very cool exploratory track.

So many wires!  Glad you can make sense of it all and give us this great music to enjoy.  Amazing what you can achieve with no edits and the variety of sounds you get out of your setup.

Indeed.   smile It's surprisingly such a pleasure to create on as there's a good selection in front of you plus you're not looking down at a desk but straight in front for most part.

Yep it is all modular synth! The piano is sample-based though but is still a module and the modular is selecting the notes/timing/processing etc for the piano.  Even the panning in the mix etc is all in the modular.  The violin tones is a synth module probably coming from Elements by Mutable Instruments as it does physical synthesis.  eg.  Bowing, plucking, hitting tones.  A great module!

Thanks heaps and glad you enjoy it and appreciate it!  I've been doing it for many years and still use my modular stuff regularly.  Love it. smile

Really great variety of sounds on display and once again impressive you're able to do this without any edits.

The piano tone has such a nice sound to it.  The percussive elements have the opposite feel in texture but really create a cool grittiness to the track.  Then the buzzing synth towards the end makes it sound like your case is breathing smile  Pure ear candy!
