Tales From Across the Ocean

Darkness from the Eastern Realms.

Actual dialogue is a story I recorded, told by one of my overseas in-laws.

wow, a very interesting piece. very cinematic. dialog is probably nothing special, but it add so much.

Sweet Jesus this is awesome! Love me some cinematic awesomeness all over my face

Fuxter - The story was actually a very amusing tale of a dog they knew.  I love the juxtaposition though as I was using it purely for an effect or texture if you will.  Humorous story with a dark score although the dialogue doesn't come across as humorous.  Sounds almost menacing.  I had the sound of banter or foreign tongue in my head for the piece but I really don't like to use samples from anyone else.  I then remembered this recording I did of the in-laws and it worked out perfectly  smile

JP - Ya gotta love cinematic awesomeness all over your face.  hehe.  Glad ya dig.  Cheers bruv!

cool. i remember recording some foreign dialog on public transportation once. i wanted to use it for some effect, but then forgot about it. it was korean maybe. anyway, thanks for the story =]

No probs  smile
