Music for guitars, strings and brass. All composed 'in the box'.

I like how you use these live instruments in almost drone way. Is the sound around 1:01 the violin being slowly played? The brass in the layers in the back adds a dark atmosphere. The heavy riff is slow and threatening. That cloud at the horizon, is that War elephants? With the strings and this heavy atmosphere, this feels to me like the soundtrack to a movie about Alexander the great as he was going beyond Persia deep into the Indus valley. Cinematic, eerie. Very nice.

Thanks for the great feedback.  Appreciated!  As for the sound, I think you're talking about the acoustic guitar which is being tremelo picked.

You know how to record like a professional. Everthing is clear and perfectly ballanced. I love the punchy drums and the dronelike guitars. The strings and brass give the song an extra cinematic touch.

Thanks mate!  Yes, I"ve been doing this for a long time and also write/record film scores and music for other mediums.  I just love doing it too!  smile

Lovely textures.

Glad as I am to have caught up, sad a little I ran out of your tunes (for now). Looking forward to following your work!

Dark, brooding. I love it.

monstrous heavy sound.  Those drums!!

Really atmospheric and moody. Can you say anything about the type of film it'll be in?

Love the overall mix of this and the way instruments are panned.  Goodness then the guitars kick in! Yais!  This has current event vibes all over it.  The drums sounds are awesome too.  Is that from a Kontakt library or just samples?  Excellent work as always and so inspiring.

Makes me think of the sequel to the film 300.  JunkieXL did the soundtrack and it is super cool!

I need some warriors gearing up for battle in slo-mo!

well done

This one won't be in an actual film but I'm hoping to use this in some form for my next collaboration in a different medium.  I can't say yet but once it's announced, I will for sure.  smile

Thanks so much. Capturing the darkness perhaps. The drums are from Damage 2. A fantastic percussion library.
