So foreboding you had to tag it twice. Really enjoyed it though, wish it was longer.
This is really cool in combination with those strings. Gives it apocalyptic desert vibe. Nice string effect at 1:40!
the strings and foghorn are wonderfully ominous, i enjoyed escaping into this otherworldly vibe
Th string is really cool - is that a sample or a recording of someone really playing? The way it builds and is always on the verge of chaos, it reminds me the track Khyber Pass by Ministry (except the the string here replaces the role of the voice on Khyber Pass). Really cool mix of sounds and an heavy storm atmosphete where lightning could strike at any time.
awesome! great snippet, could be a much longer set! strings are nice and also that little high pitched noise (hi hat?) that comes in every now and then.
Agree the strings are cool and the whole track has a great ominous vibe to it.
Ooof love how that synth sounds. The main bassy pulse combined with that subsonar sound gave me some Brian Eno "Force Marker" vibes. The strings def have that ominous tone to them. This would be great for a Heat2 soundtrack
I really dug the groove, and then the 1:32 floor-drops-from-underneath-you moment (without overstated effect of any kind) -- really lovely ending.

Haha, whoops. Foreboding must just come naturally and thanks! It would be a good track to take elsewhere listening back to it.

Thanks for listening!
the violin does a good job in this dark nebula of tension.
Yes, strings are such an effective instrument. Love them.

Thanks for the comment. Appreciated!

I used a virtual instrument for the strings. I can't remember which one sorry but they were able to evolve into various playing styles when sustained. Works a treat!

I'm pretty sure all the tones are from synth voices but are controlled to sound like percussive hits. Thanks for the listen!

Thanks man! Me like ominous.

Ah interesting. Not sure if I've heard that Eno track nor the soundtrack either. Will have a listen. Thanks man!

Thanks for listening and the feedback. Really appreciated!
