Smoky is a good word to describe the pads here. The sharp beat is a nice contrast. I kinda wished it was 3x times longer. smile

Thanks guys!  And yep, the OP-1 beats were played live.  They were the dubby half time beat.  The other cymbals, clicks etc were the OT.

The track this week is all OP-1 played in real time.  smile

Absolutely love the clicky, noise-like percussion on top of that drone. The stereo image here is really deep too, on headphones I started to get that lovely effect where you don't know if everything you're hearing is just the music - like the outside world bleeding into the rhythm. Really powerful. Did you listen on studio monitors at all? I'm very curious (I have none lol)

Ah thanks!  Yes, I nearly always mix on studio monitors.

Getting caught up on weeks of missed listening, your stuff is so inspiring.
