One take modular synth performance with minimal edits.

oh man, such a fantastic industrial synthwave atmosphere here! love how the kickdrum evolves into this harsh siren sound and pans about just a little.

This is sick. The second half is really fantastic.

I'd be curious to see a video of how you make these.

Here's a snippet of a version of this patch.  I would of then recorded out a take using this hardware.

Ah awesome!  It'd be a fun one on a big PA system live.  Glad you dug it!

giving me BIG deus ex prequel vibes. very cool

you are a bad, bad influence: sounds incredible.

you are making it harder not to pull the trigger with modular.

this sounds grandiose.

The kick alone has such a good sound to it.  Lovely thickness to it with the rest of the percussion.  Really cool "folding" effect on the synth.  Oooh the delays are a nice effect too on the synths.  Well done!

Haven't played it (haven't played any games for yonks actually!) but I'll check out the soundtrack.  Cheers!

Do eet.  big_smile. Seriously though, a lot of people say they no longer create music when they get into modular but I find it the complete opposite! There's no presets or anything so you have to record it out or it's gone. I find it really inspiring but I also find other hardware inspiring too!

Thanking you!

Cheers! Yes, the module doing the kick is super flexible. From these types of kicks to high melodic stuff even. The delays are from a fave module of mine. The Magneto which is a great 4 head tape delay emulator which can be split into the stereo field. Just bought the companion reverb module but have yet to record anything with it.  Soon though.  It sounds incredible!

ugh i love your music so much.  you have the best taste in white noise.  weird compliment, but hopefully you know what I mean.

Thank you so much.  heart
Haha, I know what you mean. smile. White noise is great as it can be shaped in so many ways due to the amount of frequencies in white noise.  You can even use it for modulation.  Lots of uses actually!

Perfectly paced, the most unbelievable part is how well the 3:15 section fits into the larger narrative.

One of my favourite things about performing on a modular system are the journeys in between.  smile
