Generative modular synth piece.

This is really nice. What is the string instrument? Sampler?
It's like Vangelis was born in 2001.

love the wide and open ambient mood, that leaves room for taking deep breaths and relaxing even it has enough tention to be prepared for a sudden change. enjoyable 5 minutes.

Excellent piece. It strikes me how not many (none?) movies make use of this type of sound. This one really sets a scene.

How are strings integrated into the modular setup? Really lovely sounds, but I also really loved the 2:12-ish almost-silence (and that ending!)

Great usage of silence.  Lots of tension in this.  I kind of hand an image of a submarine in the deepest depths of the ocean perhaps being menaced by something unknown.

Yes it is integrated into the modular system.  I'm using the ES Disting EX which has a lovely collection of sample libraries on it which I'm then able to sequence and process (if need be) in the modular environment.

Thanks for all the cool comments everyone btw.
