Crease

Another live track, this one with a geometric bass line and a straight out driving feel. Driving a highway feeling the landscape incrementally evolve.

Yup, it works! Desert landscape, in my mind.

reminds of early warp

Very warp-y indeed. Curious about your live setup? Ant particular gear you want to share?

Sure! My setup for this so far has been mainly a Novation Nova (such a beast), an electribe ESX (but only being triggered like a sampler, not using it's own sequencer) a Shruthi-1, and a little crappy 8 channel alesis mixer. Also a little Moer analog delay (which gives the ghosty sounds on this track), and then everything controlled by Numerology running on my macbook.

The track coming out in week 06 is sequenced with an MPC1000 though.

I have a korg ms2000 that I will probably get involved soon. smile It's all about the desk space hahaha.

Nice setup and nice results. Curious about your work with the MPC 1000. My track for next week it's also MPC sequenced, and currently I own a really portable and fun MPC 500 smile

Looking forward to hear more of your work smile

Peace

@laguna ya the MPC1000 from what I have heard blows the 500 away in terms of flexibility.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I basically create like 9 or 10 patterns, and then just trigger them live, like clips in ableton. That's the base, and I use the mixer, synth controls, and effects to build variations on those, to solo, mute etc.
