Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.

Yep! Sounds exactly how I approach music making in general, hahahahah....
But you've arrived at a very cool full compo here. I really enjoy the minimalistic feel here. The little elements you feed the listener here and there work really well.

the minimalism really draws you in. I can imagine going into a shoe shop or something and this is playing and thinking... damn these kids are hip. there is a real sincerity here

It me. But one of the reasons I think I am still hanging in here this year in contrast to the last times I participated is that I really force myself to start arranging as quickly as possible. It started to become much easier over time.

It's usually the other way around for me, make a song first, spend too much time looping it. Chill dub you got out of it though.
