PSS795 Three Course Special

By rayjkayj on March 7, 2026 7:28 pm

3 kinds of tunes in one track
New Jack Swing, Disco and House
Made with the crunchy sounds of the
Yamaha PSS795!

Where this dude is also hosting sample packs of a whole bunch synths, drum machines and sample based keyboards.

Made in Sunvox Mobile

Yummy. 😋 Each course was a real treat!

I see all the sprites running....1!!!!!!!!
I enjoyed a bunch.

this is epic!

Woah! I did not expect it to ramp up that fast.

Oh damn this takes me back with the new jack beat smile Giving me Toejam & Earl vibes from the first section.  Oooh the fill into the house beat so nice.  Makes me miss my old psr smile well done!

Oh, hey! I used to own that keyboard. It was my first step to synths. I didn't remember it by name. I used samples of the drums a lot when I was running LGPT in the late 2000's / early 2010s. The vector joy stick is was an interesting but limited addition. I think there was a limited sequencer on it too. It's been so long.

Fun what you've done with the song. The track is a real journey.

Oh, I was maybe twelve or thirdteen when "Poison" by Bel Vib DeVoe was released, so you got me on the first New Jack drum fill.

Now getting ready to slide my shoes for half a bar to the side.

Very very fun song. And extra kudos for visiting Legowelt's blog. He's got loads of soundpacks, and it's nice to read his really nerdy posts.

Ahh, love that jumpy 80s groove. I've been using my Amiga 500 a lot lately, definitely has that crunchy sample sound.

MAN this sounds soooo good
what a great synth and thank you for the three course special, each was delicious!

You absolutely nailed the vibes here, love the Yamaha sounds!

THIS IS AMAZING HOLY SHIT
I just hit that first transition and NEEEEEEDED to comment.
Oh fuck... The second transition just kicked in... THIS IS SO FUN!!!
Fantastic job!

Damn was not expecting this kind of reception towards this one, this is good feels.

Was wanting to move that NSJ bit more but couldn’t figure what to do thus the genre change up, the house bit was also a surprise for me. Gotta love them budget keyboards.

Just checked out your ol’ videos and damn running it off the PSP got me excited! I’m def wanting to play around more with these samples, they’re so delightfully cheesy n crunchy.

Was thinking what better way to start it off than that fill, just had to “borrow” it!
I was born when NSJ was starting up but became musically aware when it was going out. I really do like his sight, has a cozy esrly internet feel to it.

Maybe next step is to loads these up into Vividtracker(protracker inspired) and bump out a proper .MOD jamma!
