Malfunction

I've been listening to Amon Tobin lately and I guess I was influenced by his style a bit.

Having said that, this week was weird in that I didn't work the way I'm used to (and I got distracted by other things than music - more than usual). I started by making the entire beat before any of the other elements. Then tried to add synths and texture, and finally recording some x0xb0x, trying to fill the gaps and create some structure. The whole file became messy, I was fighting to try to make some sense out of the different elements. The beats were a bit weird to start with... but nevertheless, I'm satisfied with the results of this experiment (although I don't like how the track ends). Still learning a lot every week (and having fun too!)

Excellent ! As usual wink

Chaotic but there are some really sweet textures in here.  The synth sound near the end really cooks!

Woohoo I'm diggin it!

Solid tones and a spazzy beat.  I reckon you managed to pull it all together fine with a nice x0xb0x workout at the end  smile

Great sounds and glitch, can definitely hear the Amon Tobin influence mixed with a little Luke vibert acid

Cool and crazy experiment!

suhweet beats as always and the x0x is right on point!  This makes me want to chop a bunch of veggies but with iron chef skillz smile  Nice work!

Incredible!

Thanks a lot for the comments! Enjoying your tracks as well!

Wow the percussion is nuts on this (in a good way!). There is so much going on but nothing seems out of place, love the overall texture on this. Also never heard of Amon Tobin until now so thanks for that big_smile!

Fucking sweet man .. reminds me a little of early Tom Jenkinson too (as well as Amon Tobin), awesome acidy bassline work out.

HELL YEAH! Outstanding mix and glitchiness. Amon would be proud!
