Intro to OP

Hello!
It's my second time attempting WeeklyBeats. I completed 26 tracks in the first 26 weeks of 2014... Skipped the 2016 edition, but now I'm back.
During 2014, I was making tracks very slowly, in Ableton, spending many times more than 15 hours per week to compose, mix and master a song. I learned a lot, but at some point it started to feel like a chore. Spending 15 hours per week won't be possible this year (kids!), so I decided to change my approach : I'll try to compose faster and try to be less obsessed with small details and have more fun making my tracks. I'll try to improve in composing; making better progressions and transitions, and do some parts live, all of which I struggle with.
As a result, my first composition is a bit rough on the edge and was done in about 3 hours (very fast for me), all on the great Teenage Engineering OP-1 synth/sampler. I have this unit since several years, but never got to complete songs on it, so that's a first for me. Still learning to use the tape to edit a song (for those familiar with the device). I'll probably do a bunch more tracks on it, and eventually sample some other gear, etc.
Hope you enjoy. All comments welcome.
And to all : good luck in achieving your own goals!
