Another all-in-one max patch for this week's... this one was fun with the bassy stuffz... (trying out new things from the new version of Max(8.3)...mc.twist~, mc.chord~, jit.gl.pbr...)...
shared the patch here again:

and here's an accompanying/visualizer vid made straight from the patch:

A lot of really cool textures in here.  The videos are a nice touch.  The visual elements seem to complement the sounds well and sync up really nicely.

dirty!!

really cool vibe

so many weird nice bass sounds in there!

(For some reason I thought you were gone this week, APOLOGIES I STAND CORRECTED, MISSED YOU FOR NO REASON!)

First minute sounds like time itself is stretching, particularly when everything retrigs and the kick drums / subs join in. Very very intense bit of music that.
1:15-1:40 that is some dripping funk and that clearly unstable lead-ish sound is way cool, that sound and I are friends.
Circa 4:20 the little ascending melodic fragment w/ like a marimba-type sound totally works, I love that sound also.

The bass (but also kinda kick-functioning) sounds (e.g. 4:51-4:54 mostly has those) I need to hear in my car, first time I heard it I felt those needed a high-shelf boost to bring more highs in: the subs movement sounds great on my headphones, the noise is flat. On second listen I'm not sure about that criticism -- I'll let you know more when I hear it through the air, headphones are a bit shit sometimes for mix critiques.

This gnarls just right.

i was gone a couple weeks back, but kept the tracks coming(barely keeping up, haha... now trying to catch up on work stuff and listening to everyone's stuff...)... ya i feel you're right about the bass mix, i'm struggling to create just the right textures for bass in Max/synths... i have this wrong notion in my head to make it less digital i should lowpass so much, hahaha... i'll have to work on it...
Glad you dug the textures, Thank You!!

with the that snare and the low rumbles buried in a layer of VHS fuzz, I feel like I'm descending into a cave next to the ocean, then everything feels all sparse and ritualistic. very colorful bass, the mosquito-like instability of the pitch is delicious, like sticking my face up right up to the blade of a giant engine. really cool vibe.

sounds like a fast guitar riff fading in from the 4th dimension and then it disappears

love the hiss on the kicks
