still feeling unmotivated(rains came... i didn't go out to get the exercise i needed(hiking's what i like to do for exercise, but it's too muddy now)... i think i'll disable comments for now, i am unworthy... but thank you all for being such beautiful people and for your beautiful music ).
i could claim this track was created on my norns(using the app i'm creating but experimenting with set-time stutters instead of geometric-series in order to create more chance of polyrhythms, and only sequencing the drums not playing with live-loopers at all... also, running samples through effects matrix in the supercollider layer involving filtered-delays, comb-filters, reverb, 'klank'-resonator, and some of the samples are ones i had recorded long ago of me hitting strings on a piano soundboard directly in different ways for that 'prepared piano' sound)... then mastered in Logic to make it gentler and safe on the ears and systems(two layers of EQ with lopass, attenuating-hi-shelf,and several notches plus limiters, skipping the compressor because norns compressor was on during recording...)... i could claim all that...
...but the truth is!
...this is a recording taken one night around 2am in the woods behind your home ..
.. bet you had no idea what goes on out there at that hour, now you do
