just heard about weeklybeats 1 day before first week's deadline is up big_smile
quickly made something in renoise with samples i had of a drum kit i'd recorded in a studio long ago, plus something from aalto plugin(also recorded some bowed-banjo into renoise... never tried recording straight through my laptop speakers into renoise before, haha, terrible sound overall, but it works for the range(i rested the banjo right on the laptop to get that extra tinny sparkle), and with valhalla supermassive reverb all over it, got a nice abrasively haunting feel to it ;D)... i also added a part where i put the beats through some FFT-based processing I created in Max/MSP(an effect that morphs one signal's spectrum with another... in this case it morphed the beats with some fm tones that were tuned to the key)

Awesome- really cool vibe here

Oldschool dark! The laptop speakers are a bragging right, I did record through cheap headphones way back when I was in high school, but never did through the laptop speakers, elite! (And hella punk, too...)

nice abstract glitches

...and super complex hi hat programming

This is cool and sounds like a very creative signal path. Looking forward to more

Thank You All so much! Really glad to have found weeklybeats, excited for more smile

Dig the drums
I should probably give renoise a try some time

Sounds great! can't wait to hear more from ya!

Mmm! Spectral morphing for breakfast

Nice, feeling an Autechre vibe on this, love how everything kind of dissolves/crumbles away at the end

great deconstruction. like.

I like the punctuated percussion that jangles between the sides. This could be used in a show or cutscene of a game.

Very nice! Glad you found WB, it's an awesome project (best thing that ever happened to my musical development, personally)
