A great warping mangler to end the year!  Dig the guitar additions in the mix too.  A fun listen indeed!

Have a great NY!

Feeling the love... and awesome gumbo of electronics and samples.  That syn drum is punching me in the gizzard in a good way.  Love the random synth play at 1:12 and the emerging guitar riffs towards the end. Very funky.

Happy New Year!

That is some epic noise making and a great way to close out the year.  Hope you have a great 2023 and hopefully see you back here in 2024!

Wish you a very nice 2023! Thanks a lot for the generous comments this year. I quite like the guitar touch in this final track!

Made it, sending my best wishes over your way. Way to end an epic year of exploration hope to see you in 2024.

this is very trippy. I will slow the track down and listen more closely, because I think I have missed a lot of important details. I always loved it, when you did freestyling, experimenting and doing research. it was like getting a listen to the way futuremusic could sound like. thank you very much for everything and have a happy 2023.

Have a great 2023, really enjoyed listening to all your tracks this year, always creative, always bringing the distortion/glitch, and always bringing those sounds that make you scratch your head “how did he make that?”

brilliant track! I couldn't tell how time passed by, there was a lot going on. The guitar part is cool and makes the electronic beat more approachable. I like the weird noises that make up the beat. Sounds like a ton of modular stuff. And I'm also a big fan of the tasteful glitches.

thanks for the year of good music and good vibes in the comments!

Thanks for all the fascinating engaging and interesting music this year Raja! I never really knew what to expect each week, and that was fun! This was the first year hearing your tunes, glad I did. Thanks for sharing! Thanks for commenting and support, glad you're here. Have a great 2023, hope to see you in 2024. this song is super fun. More surprises. A dense melange, love the guitars, did not expect those! Keep up the explorations into the great beyond!

This is such a good finale, overloading up the Raja sound―there's so much going on (just look at the tags lol)―but it's coherent when it wants to be, and no matter how crazy things seem to get the mix stays crystal clear.  Also, that title is great.

And with that, Weeklybeats 2022 is over!  I don't know what you'll do next, but I'll bet it will sound good.  You're one of a kind (who else here bangs out and shares weekly dsp code for specific songs?)  For my part, I should have time to go back try out all those Max patches you've shared over the year.

PS: I remember being particularly impressed by this track: https://weeklybeats.com/rajatheresidentalien/music/skaopensthegates

so much happens in this! I love it! Congrats and have a great 2023

YOU are the awesome one!  I love the guitar in this.  Just feels like you are a DJ with 12 turntables and you're scratching all the records at the same time.

Great piece.

Thanks for all your support and enthusiasm and your unbridled creativity and emotion!  It has meant a lot to me and has kept me going.

Happy New Year, friend!

Wow that is a great way to close the year. This is really a crazy festival of sounds, very disorienting in a nice way. I have really loved your tracks this year. FEARLESS was one of the higlights of WB2022 to my ears! Thank you for sharing your great music and your always very nice comments. I wish you a great 2023 and hope to see you again in 2024!

Oooh some excellent squelchy Aphexy sounds along with the funky guitars.  That one squelch really takes me back.  I agree with orangedrink it has a sorta octopus-dj effect to it smile  That kick drum def smacks you in the chest.  I hope you have a fun 2023!  Happy New Year!

RAJA!  Congratulations!

This track is WILD!

I've really enjoyed watching your creative process unfold this year!
Thank you for all the sweet comments!
Wishing you all the best in 2023!

Thank you, Emily! (i need to practice the live-looping technique more, but this is a start, captured the guitar and looped it but then rehearsed the vocals while that was running for a few hours, haha, at least it was all done within a few hours lol that still proves the patch will work) Really appreciate that you enjoyed it smile
