I'm still exploring my 'Norns'(it's like a little sound-computer... long story short: lots to learn, so many options.. i don't know what i'm doing, but these glitchy sounds are fun big_smile)... this track came from me coding an app for it(involves sequencing one-shot drums, and routing that through various effects, eventually hoping to add a live-looper... for now, the looper just sounds like a delay/stutter)...
so much stuff... learning Lua, learning SuperCollider, i need more time to figure it all out :?

anyways, hope you like this little benchmark point(i'd say i'm 1/3 of the way done with the app i'm making), it was fun to come up with at least this much music from it for weeklybeats last-minute this week, as i've been working hard on the app, it wasn't until today(Sunday) that it had this much sequencing/control-options to generate a track and keep it somewhat interesting like this one smile (i mastered it a bit further in Logic too... it's going through a compressor/limiter in SuperCollider, then the main Compressor of the norns, and several compressors and a final limiter in Logic... so even if it does get wild in volume-changes, the signal is in good hands lol )
(by next week it'll be easier to incorporate other elements beyond onboard-samples/effects, hoping for live-sampled-input by then.. we'll see... i'm trying/learning new things! w/ baby-steps big_smile)

Also sorry i lost track of weeklybeats last week: didn't find as much time to come on here and participate, will catch-up now.

It's really cool to hear about people creating apps and coding to make music.  It fuses a whole different sort of technical know-how into the creation process and has cool results.  Some really crazy and awesome beats here.

Man that drum into is fucking dope. I love the constantly shifting patterns with the spacing as it gradually builds up into what I can only describe as shpongle if they did IDM.

impressive results you get with the stylish norns. I think we will hear more of good explorations in the future.

my norns just looks at me on the daily, really need to just take this on a holiday and let it sing.

This really inspires me to dig in.

Super squishy things happening, and it's enticing. Like a machine that's also organic. The rhythms engage and make me wiggle a little. Nice creation, love how it's unpredictable and evolving.

That is some industrial fun stuff. Like the choice-manipulation of sounds. Do like the the glitches at the end...!

Rock!.

super cool sounds smile I love the tempo modulations and all the wild percussion textures. awesome that you are getting (more?) into nornsing, it is sooo much fun big_smile

Love every sound in this, particularly farty ones, and those comb-filtered hits are badass also.

Norns interest can't really rise any more than it is, but curiosity jumped a notch or two. heart

Woah some really awesome textures and complex rhythms in this one.  I like how the sound constantly progresses throughout.  Excellent work!
