wreck site

On thursday I found an accordion on the bulky waste in front of my door. It was in a good shape, only full of fungus mould. I cleaned it for hours and needless to say, I used it for this weeks track on weeklybeats. It became the first time in my life, I made use of such an instrument and I was surprised of its capabilities.
I wanted the accordion to attend an improvisation session I had with my dear friend Aris last week. We played about 30 minutes, so I had to reduce the track to a reasonable length. Somehow I felt like adding a rhodes piano at a certain moment and I hope it sounds jazzy enough. I relinquished on drums this time. Enjoy.

On friday I finally came up with my selfmade website, which subject is about homerecording and cutting records with a wilcox-gay record lathe from 1935. You are welcome to have a look here: https://www.q-rosh.com/

Accordion is a very nice sound. Nice "ambient" track. Really like the rhodes.

That seems like a gift from the fungus gods.  The accordion sounds nice here.  I had a friend that used to have one.  I messed around a tiny bit with it, but it seemed a little difficult.  I'd say you were rewarded for your efforts in cleaning it out.  Congrats on the website.  It looks cool at first glance.  I'll bookmark it and poke around a little more later.

I adore the way you use guitars in this track. They sound so great and they fit really nicely with the other sounds too.

Hope you cleaned it out well! Sounds good, but the star is that great guitar!

Oh man, just browsed your new website for a sec, now I'm hooked!

what the heck, Santa Claus just dropped a Mold Accordion™ on your doorstep?  Amazing!  Sounds terrific.

LOL this is exactly what I think you look like when you are evaluating your final mixdowns.

WHOA your new website is really great!  I'm so impressed by your record cutting.  Seems like magic to me.

Lucky you, having an accordion like that. It's not very strong in the mix, but it makes a great pad.

Very nice guitar work there. Subtle and tasty! The accordion appears used in the background as an atmospheric element, I mistook it for a pad initially. I'd be curious to hear a track with that instrument more to the front!

Excellent guitar work as always but really enjoyed that lovely rhodes punch through the mix.  They sit so nicely together in the mix.  Nice use of the accordion too.  Your website was really cool to check out.  So many instruments yikes   Love all the keyboards you have.  I like the heavier outro too especially with that small rhodes noodle at the end.

Ohhh no. I hate Accordeons, but...
this is awesome Art!

It always depends on what you do with it.

Denke ich werde morgen, heute mein Avatar ändern.
Der sieht so Agressiv aus.

Wow, this is truly a pleasure to listen to, great droning use of the accordion, Rhodes was a great addition to go with the strumming.  Nice job on the website, very interesting on cutting records.

Wow, this was such a nice listen. What a story about the accordian find. It was meant to be! It does add nice ambiance here, but I agree the guitars are highlight.
Your website is cool, love the way main page is the scrolling story. Great story too, had no idea those machines existed and people could cut vinyl at home so long ago. Going to go watch the video over there now.

Wait, what? You found an accordion at your front door?  Do people deposit long forgotten instruments at your doorstep so you can bring them back to live?  Love the track from start to finish.  The Rhodes piano was a good choice and addition.  Also, checking out the website.  You got some really cool stuff going on and this definitely helps to explains some things I've heard you mention in comments.  Now I'm off to explore the new site!

Great! Can't wait to check out the website. So cool
