tape glitch

By Q-Rosh on March 18, 2018 6:02 pm

I was working with an old idea, I found on my tape recorder. That makes the soundquality a bit "mumpfig", but the melodies still shine through. The song developed into a glitchy-matrix something, but I do quite like it.

Ich liebe diese mumfig Qualität. Like some kind of fantasy factory.

Sehr cool!
Wieder im Stil von von "Flux Repair" und "Extra Ball" die fand ich ja auch schon so cool.
Da könntest Du eigentlich mal n mixtape draus machen...

wow, really really enjoyed this one.  many twists and turns.  not sure what "mumpfig" means, but if it describes this style of sound then i love it

Excellent use of old ideas. Really cool sonic exploration here. Great guitars too! Nice work!

Ja, ja , Kassetten sind wieder im Anmarsch. Habe auch schon wieder über eine Veröffentlichung (es gibt schon 3 selbstproduzierte Tapes) "the best of WB" nachgedacht....kauf Dir schon mal ein Tape-Deck.

mumpfig is like muddy, lofi, not so brilliant or the opposite of crystal clear sound. Maybe, this is what you really really love. Thank you for the nice comment.

Thank you, sir

das ist echt geil! super hubsche guitare und veruckte elktronische knallen gehen sehr gut zusammen! (cant you tell im a real native german boy?)

wow, lots of twists in this one. Very interesting, very nice! And I like "mumpfig", as in lofi smile

Love the combination of the clean guitar sound with the glitchy elements.  I think the "mumpfig" aspect works well here.

what great textures!  really lovely

i love the sound design, so many cool sounds!

Very cool textures and sounds, I dig it. And I get to read some German in the comments, nice bonus.

Good experimentation.  The King Crimson type guitar part tied it together nicely.

Wow, i realy enjoyed this one... inspired madness!

Rough, raw and beautiful

Unsettlingly Soothing. A very nice layering of sounds and textures.

So many nice comments, I thank you very much.

I can't really add any thing that hasn't been said above, but the mood, texture, every thing, is really interesting and cool. i think this is my favorite one so far this year

Excellent developement, great Textures!

I like how certain lines deviate from the core in this one. Nice contrast!
