stiff breeze

The superman, who repaired my wilcox-gay recordrecorder, namely my dear friend and weeklybeater m2K7, ordered a track with violin. So, I have to deliver violins. It is always a difficult purposes, to record the violin and get a result, that doesn`t sound like me in the age of 7, starting with the violin-lessons. Here I recorded about 10 stringtracks and mixed them down to a more or less orchestral noisy thing. Some reversed guitars helped to complete the track. The piano and the hip-hoppy beat comes from my OP1 and the internal spring effectsection.

The violins sound really good on this.  They're a nice bit of textural flavor to the track.

I loved this, man. Will come back to this again this week, I think. Really cool one to zone out to.

Fantastic beat, love boom bap drums, nice use of the violin as a droning sound, like how you reversed things midway, sounds like an old ninja tune track.

The reverseguitar effect is really cool, I need to try this. The violin effects are really cool and not what I expected when reading the description. Very nice and organic.

oh man I forgot that you and m2K7 know each other, that is so incredible.

this is so good, especially the violin drone.  Great guitar and the beat switch (out of spring reverb) is really tasty

really really well done!  i'm downloading it!

The good kind of madness.

Nice flow on this journey. The beat holds it down with the magic happening on top. Good drum sounds from OP1. Very acoustic sounding. I may not have know I was hearing so violin if you hadn't mentioned it. Sounds great in here.

This whole thing is on point. The violins are rich and visceral, that warm detuned chord drone is perfectly matched to the Autumn light in my window, the crispy percussion that comes in half way through grounds it in just the right way. Excellent work.

Love the opening 'sun shining thru' feel with that sustained note.  Slick piano dancing in between the laid back beat.  The violins sound awesome especially how they waver in and out as you play.  This has an old school trip hop feel to it.  Massive Attack meets Portishead.  Well done!

The layering of violins and guitar sound really solid and form a single wall of sound.  Really nice with the vinyl flutter and simple piano lines.  Drums from the OP1 sit nicely in the mix and don't come across overly electronic. They just fit in perfect. Nice work!

This sounds awful, but I'm glad you had to suffer through playing the violin. The sounds turned out great and made a really cool track.

Love the violins! Very cohesive and that last little percussion bit at the end could lead anywhere.

Violins sound great here. They stack together and blend together very convincingly
