screaming females

By Q-Rosh on January 14, 2018 10:37 am

This week I wanted to have the music supported by a vocalist. My first choise was one of my favorite guitar- players, J. Mascis. He is famous for being taciturn in interviews. But, using sampletechnology I could make him rap like NAS. By the way, now we know what the most important thing in musicbiz is.

WOW - that was strangely beautiful.  The guitar + rhodes was really nice.  I really like the fast riff in the second half of the song.  Looks like J Mascis was the original mumble rapper!  FEEL THE PAIN.

Quite like this track. Well done.

This is strangely beautiful.
J mascis has such a distinctive voice, even after the sampling it is still very much him smile

this is really interesting! his voice is the perfect texture to complement the rest of the music.

Greatly envious. The way the voice is integrated is sublime.

delivers on all levels, as always. i really like the vocal components, they add a really cool texture on top of an already interesting track

Wow.  Yeah that was very cool and way to bend J Mascis's voice to your will.

Monsieur Q-Rosh immer wieder für eine Überraschung gut. Klasse gemacht, mit sehr viel Gefühl und Herz. Weiter so:-)

really nice flow

Great stuff!

so chill!

His voice def adds a unique sound to this chill track, really cool drums too! nice job smile

Getting a serious Jim Wood vibe from this one!  Great stuff.

Nice space intro and the gated guitar is very cool..
Awesome job on the voice! And this organ i love Ah wink

Oh yeah! I really dig the mood in here!

Thank you very much. I was even doing some further experimental voice manipulation of J. Mascis, but then found it too inappropriate. Wanted to preserve his charming mumbeling voice and do not enter to deep into Jims territory. But had lots of fun doing the chopping and sampling.

I am relieved, this experiment did please you somehow.  Thank you for the nice comments.

Really cool experiment. Easily got away with the flow. Download and fav.

That guitar passage repeating constantly in the first half is sounding really nice

Just beautiful.
I like the development of the song very well.
Sehr abwechslungsreich smile
