WARNING. The following material is super mega lofi. You better skip it away.
If not, I tell you what I was doing. This week I was messing around with tapeloops and effects, but could not focus on a melodic part, that I thought was missing. But mercifully I rediscovered a long forgotten track on the audiorecorder of my Iphone. It was a short improvisation with my friend Aris on my birthdayparty 2016. Did not hear it for 4 years, but still remember that moment so well. I was lucky to  hear us playing, the way we did. But the recording was very low, digital and cold. So I decided to copy it to my Revox B77 and back again onto
the computer. And voila, it had a magically new sound, call it noise, but much more warmer. What you still can hear, is the snare vibrating, but less annoying. Then I put it between the experimental tapeloops, that could be the intro and outro or something else, to make the hole thing not too intimate. Everything here is considered as an analog tapemachine experiment and not as a song in the classic form. Have fun ladys and gentlemen.

A band stop. but don't Stop
exclusive and intimate end.
As always excellent Art!

Not everyone's thing

I started my recording career on a cheap cassette player, so I always have room for lo-fi.  I think the guitars sounds quite gorgeous once they get where they're going.  I like the avant-garde string sounds near the end.  It sounds like an orchestra at the end of the world.

Awesome ambient lofi! Really cool adventure.

has a soft distortion that washes over the mix. Can hear some strange imaging in the left side of my headphones during the middle section. Lots of cool experimental lo-fi goodness!

as soon as you say "don't listen" and "lofi" and "tape" I'm immediately like THIS IS GOING TO RULE

I'm actually super into this

this definitely is like a little mixtape within a single piece: noise, jam, noise

The noise makes the guitars feel very warm.

Damn yeah the guitar sounds incredible once it opens up.

I agree 100% with this.  Super cool track.  A neat idea executed perfectly.

I knew I should have finished the song before commenting.  We need an edit button.  Anyways, just came back to say I absolutely love the ending.

Glad I didn't skip it away, love the intro and feel of this, very unique.

I'm all on board with super mega lofi. Old recordings and technology sound cool, no two ways about it. Great story, this has an extra mysterious vibe when you think of it as an old recording. The ending is great!

Love the lo-fi mixtape feel of this.  No skipping needed here!

Can't skip away now after hearing those interesting sounds! I'm into the lofi too, hifi is overrated. Dig it, so much to hear here!
