this stuff was freshly recorded with my tascam 4-track cassetterecorder. I was playing some sounds from the korg microsampler and my vocals straight into the tapedeck. the other day I was jamming on the OP-1 and found no reason not to combine the projects. In the end it got a longer track again, but it should get the time it needs.
It could also be a fictional session by Alex Somers, Richard D. James and Q-tip. somehow.

Such a serene timeline of shimmering bliss sprinkled with so many beautifully nuanced rhythms and innovatively seductive sound-design heart

The track starts as an aetheral piece and evolves into a music that reminds me of a factory on an alien planet. The rhythm parts give that impression of factory business, while the big bass sounds sound like the vocalizations of an alien. And t ends back in a quiet place. I live the voice through the tapedeck, that gives such a vintage vibe to the track.

Floats in and out on a cloud and throws a heck of a party in the middle.  Really nice work on this one.

Excellent sound design as always. Was a fun challenge to find a gif that fit both major movements (soft and lively).

Love the adagio-esque feels from the intro.  Like I was on a swing having the time of my life but in slomo with all the lights streaming in the background.  The beat driven section takes it into a bubbling organic zone of goodness.  Really cool panning on the fx stutters and such.  Well done!

Always love how their is a sense of the past or finding a forgotten recording in your music, beautiful intro and like the tape stop sounding effect as the beat comes in and transitions midway.

I really love the progression, its all so natural. Really nice spatialisation and overall vibe. Really digging it!

Oooh, super fresh. I was vibing and getting lost in the intro section, wondering Q tip? Then the part around 5 mins comes, and yes, I get it, very cool, feeling it.

Very dreamy. Beautiful chaos starting at 4:29. Sounds of DNA recombining in the star chamber. The sounds from the OP-1 are so sharp and punchy. They contrast well with the softer sounds and loops I'm assuming are coming from the 4-Track.

these sound so dreamy together
