psycho doctor

this is a document on minicassette from the 80ies, on which doctors and others used to dictate their informations during and after the treatment. It is superlofi, but still working well on the Grundig steno-cassette player.
It is a session of a diagnostic and successful discovery of an USK, a psychosomatic relation between the body and a secret subconscious hidden trauma, expressed by eye-movements. very spooky and fascinating.
together with my dear friend and weeklybeater m2k7, we had a nice session and worked this song out.

Whoah, amazing source material! Love this. Has such rich vibe.

Unique. In a good way.

Whoaaa super awesome! Nice rich distortion and excellent synthwork.

Awesome track, the cassette sample adds great texture.

That's a really cool backstory.  I love when people are able to kind of "rescue" old recordings like that and re-purpose them.  Even without understanding the language, the voice definitely sounds authoritative.  Great backing music as well.

Great mix of speech and music! Love the story behind the recording, very creative and cool way to use it.

Fascinating stuff.

Super cool! That recording is so interesting but your huge beat and production make the piece. Love how the instruments introduce themselves as it progresses, keeps it interesting. So much audio out there to rescue like this, makes me want to go digging in the basement for old tapes.

Super cool use of the tapes and awesome change up with those breakbeats halfway through.  The pads are extra pleasing too.  Nice work!

This is so good, I don't understand the recordings but they sound great with the feel of the track, love the bass and interesting percussion/bells.

This is so amazing! great sounds from the tapes - works superwell with that deep bassy sound.
Love how it evolves from soundtrack/downbeat to more drum n bass and then back again.
The reversed synth sound is also great. Faved! Amazing track!

At the beginning i thought of Darth Vader smile
You reworked that very well, the voice is really clearer to hear.
