old movie

noodeling on my OP-1 through some guitar effectpedals, I have noticed that there is a certain mood, like an old black and white movie from the early beginning of the film history. the music has the same lack of quality, sudden cuts and a lot of little disturbances. Somehow, while listening, I could dive into the atmosphere and felt like beeing a participant of a sad and spooky old movie.

I do get that nostalgic vibe. There is a sound that reminds me of the sound of a projector, and the pad like guitars do provide that sepia tainted atmosphere. This is superb. You are taking us through various journeys with your tracks, playing with the textures and sounds in a very organic fashion.

Cool sounds.  It really does convey the feeling of an old movie that's been warped and decayed a bit with time.

Hmm, some instruments seem a little anachronistic, but overall the experience is really good

This is pretty cool. It remembered me of one of those very nice "That cinematic orchestra" cd that I purchased maybe 20 years ago. This thing was killer.

yes, "man with a movie camera", that is a good album.  Thanks again for some beautiful music, you have a great ability at immersing the listener into your music each week, look forward to what you bring us next week.

i love the lush, warbly transformations of sound here, like surfing over waves of tape and vinyl that coalesce to form small, transient impressions of scenes from old movies they used to be a part of, passing through in a general cloud of nostalgic lustre and soothing calm heart

This does bring the feeling of of being immersed in old movie, which is good. Love the warbling. Magical and immersive indeed.

Old things sound neat. This is a new track, but it has that vibe. Love this one a lot -- all that midrange stuff around 4th minute w/ no bass freqs in sight -- wow!

Love the sound of those far away pads.  This gave me visuals of sitting in a dark room with a fire going while old movies were projected onto the wall.  Really cool chord progression too.  This is a good escape for me thank you.

Sounds great!  Lots of great textures and yes, I think the dropouts really add to it.  Kind of like disintegrating tapes.  heart.
