my performance

I thought about deactivating the comments, not to be overflooded by shitstorms and other appropriate comments.
First of all I have to admit, this song is a controversial copy of the live performance 5 by john frusciante and josh klinghoffer from the year 2004, which I personal consider as the most beautiful and true song ever played, even the bootleg quality of this document is one of the worst, ever recorded. The track evokes such overwhelming feelings and touches me deeply, evertime I hear it. Not only me, the comments on YT are full of thankgivings. What I did was to catch the live concert atmosphere with a fieldrecording, which I did on an airport, waiting for my flight back home. I played multible guitartracks instead of the original 2 instrument version, because I am far away from the skills of Sir Josh and Master John. To have this certain guitartone, I grabbed a halfaccoustic to have more feedback from the amp and a jaguar via the fender supersix. It is a lofi microphonic recording, maybe a little bit better than the original. The main issue about this track is, I have lost the data of the hole recording, so I wasn`t able to make a postproduction of the track. There are a lot of notes, that I wish I wouldn`t have played, but I can`t change it anymore. Too late. I love the mix as it is and regard it as my personal bootleg, the way the original exists.

This is beautiful. I'm sorry to hear about the shitstorms, I can't imagine who would shit on this. Nothing wrong here.

Guitar work is great. I'll have to look for the original version. I really like the background ambiance as well. Feels to me like you were able to feel the music and that is what matters.

Good stuff. Getting to the finish line soon. I'll miss those.

This is beautiful, man.

Klasse Atmosphäre, das hintergründige Rauschen ist tiefgründig und unverzichtbar

This was nice.  It felt like sitting peacefully and watching a river flow by.

Thank you all for listening.
Here is the song I was talking about:

Beautiful sound. Dreamy and warm. "There are a lot of notes, that I wish I wouldn`t have played, but I can`t change it anymore. Too late."  That should be a song lyric.

you might enjoy listening to directorsound. check him out some day...

Lovely guitar throughout that parts the shitstorm clouds away.

It's a beautiful rendition. Keep at it!

Nice guitar duo, that was really nice. The addition of the airport sound added this live atmosphere that made it better. Every note might not be perfect but you did something more important, which was to capture this subtle and delicate feeling.

Lovely piece - glad you shared! I'm always in awe of your guitar work, this is no exception. I could drift away and dream to this for hours. It stimulations the imagination. I'm picturing you playing this in an airport, would be cool to hear someone playing in an airport, make travelling a lit better! Sometimes maybe it's good to just share something unedited, the thing that it is.

Pleasure to listen too, I was not familiar with the original piece, thanks for posting that as reference, I couldn’t tell what needs to be edited, sounds great as is.

Nice vibe, and you captured the live atmosphere beautifully

Great stuff here man!  Haven't heard the original but I dig this guitar stuff.  Check out Bill Frisell if you haven't as you may dig his playing.  It's fantastic.
