Should I or shoundn`t I mix vocals into this song, was the question. The track was already finished, but with some james brown samples from here (1988 James Browns strangest interview ever) I pefered the result, because the track came out a little retro and now it looks into a new era with its glichyness. Hope you can enjoy it.

o wow that groove!!! those screwed samples work so perfectly, great vibe

oh ya to the electric piano & the james brown!

Great, loves the chilled Rhodes... it's like The Doors got in a fight with James Brown... in a great way! smile

Amazing tones in this track, the Rhodes sounds incredible!! Really cool

Love this beat. Vocals are supersweet!
Real nice spaced out ending... The fading out Rhodes Chords would be enough for whole track smile Great!

How funky is this. Totally agree with theGuen about the fadeout.

The effect is surreal. Got some ska roots somewhere in the dna. Great drum and guitar sound. I really like the samples.

The James Brown samples work perfect.  Love the funky fresh vibe on this.

What a trip! just perfect big_smile

Wicked good! smile

Thank you. I am not a drummer but took that drumloop from a recording I did in my basement.
Glad you noticed the sick beat.

Such a lovely sounding rhodes.  I could have listened to those opening chords much longer on a rainy day smile  The beat was a pleasant surprise and definitely picked up the pace of the groove.  The outro has a psychedelic feel to it with that awesome rhodes.  Nice work!

Eine Wundertüte voller Überraschungen. Makes me crazy, im positiven Sinne, versteht sich

Haha, you can't go wrong with JB.  I really like that edgy beat.  Really surges the track forward and sort of keeps it unsettled.  The guitar locks in nicely too.  Kind of a 70s jam out vibe to it.
