Welkin Promenade

By PWR on March 11, 2012 11:47 pm

The Welkin Promenade, one of the many wonders of the planet of Grenada.  It's transparent surface strays for miles as it twists around mountains and through caves in many directions.  Thankfully the inhabitants of Grenada have marked it with glowing lights so that a visitor will not fall from it's great height.  It is not a threat to any vehicle because only biological life has the ability to walk on it.  The law enforcement often uses it to identify robots disguised as life.

This song is kind of what I would consider to be the sister song to "Grimalkin's Pannier"  I'm not that big of a fan of it but I also did the entire song in the last 3 hours before the deadline soooooo... ya.

I really like the synths you got going. They sound real fancy.

Cool combination of those 2 main synth sounds, gives a nice electro feel to it..

Ya, I wish I would've kept them less echoey becasue they fit well together.

nice sounds! smile

Really cool... envious you could pull this together in 3 hours. Like how it shifts into different movements with different leading synth sounds.

Nice track!

Thanks guys smile But ya, back a few years ago before I could save (trial version) I used to make chiptunes almost every night and I did them fast so I could finish them (like in a couple hours) of course they all sucked though XD

like

the synths sound rad and I'm loving the minimal house style beat.

one of the synths sounds almost like a theremin at some parts. Awesome. I like it alot.

Ya, it was based off a preset called "Theremax"
